Google Chrome: First Look

So, Google Chrome is now available for download. First impressions: it's smokin' fast. I just rolled through our admin panels lightening quick, our sites are faster than ever, and the ExtJS samples render with no issues (the Web Desktop even smokes). Very nice work, so far.

cfwookie's Gravatar So I tried a local site on my server that makes use of a cfgrid tag (flash format) and it displays the grid, but no data. If I change the format to html it works as it should. hmm.... any ideas?

Honestly, I've never used the Flash version of cfgrid, so I wouldn't have a clue.

cfwookie's Gravatar Thanks anyway. I guess the html version is what I will go with, but the Flash form looks so nice!!

Steve 'Cutter' Blades's Gravatar Yes, the Flash forms look nice, but most no longer use them. The Flash forms are still rendered via Flex 1.5, and are deadly slow, especially larger forms.
